Allah The Exalted says:And verily, you (O Muhammad saw)
are on an exalted (standard of) character.

Allah The Exalted says:And by the Mercy of Allah you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you.

1- Abu Hurairah(RA)narrated : Allah’s Messenger (saw)said, “Indeed I was sent to complete the best of character.”

2- Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated:The Messenger of Allah (saw) was the best in character amongst people.

3- Abu Hurairah (RA)  narrated: Allah’s Messenger (saw) said,” The most complete of believers in Iman (Faith) are those who are best in Character.”

4- Abu Darda (RA) narrated : I heard Allah’s Messenger (saw) say, Nothing will be placed in the balance heavier than good conduct, and a person with good conduct will attain the rank of one who fasts and prays.”

5- Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated : Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “Two characteristics are not found together in a hypocrite pleasant personality and understanding of deen.”

6- Abu Dharr (RA) narrated : Allah’s Messenger (saw) said to me, “Fear Allah where ever you are, and follow a bad deed with a good deed it will wipe it out, and behave with people with good conduct.”

Being merciful towards people
Narrated by Jarir bin Abdullah (Radhiallaho anho):

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “He who is not merciful to others, will not be treated mercifully.”

The superiority of the guardian of an orphan

Narrated by Sahl bin Sad(Radhiallaho anho):

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this,putting his index and middle fingers together.”

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Narrated by Ibn Umar (Radhiallaho anho):

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “Gabriel kept on recommending me about treating the neighbors in a kind and polite manner, so much so that I thought that he would order (me) to make them (my) heirs.”

The superiority of nearest neighbor
Narrated by Aisha (Radhiallaho anha):

I said “O Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)! I have two neighbors! To whom shall I send my gifts?” He said, “To the one whose gate is nearer to you.”

The one whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil
Narrated by Abu Shuraih (Radhiallaho anho):

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!” It was said, “Who is that, O Allah’s Apostle?” He said, “That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil.”

A believer should not harm his neighbor
Narrated by Abu Huraira(Radhiallaho anho):

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam), “Anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet (i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk).”
Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 47

In the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful

1.  Be Good to Parents and to Kindred and to Orphans and the Needy and speak kindly to Mankind; and establish Prayer and pay the Poor-Due.

(AlQuran. Surah AlBaqara. Para # 1)

2.  Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none save Him and ( that ye show ) kindness to Parents.

(AlQuran. Surah Banii Israael. Para # 15)

3.  If one of them or both of them attain old age with thee, say not ” Fie ” unto them, nor Repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word.And lower unto them the wing submission through Mercy and say : My Lord! Have Mercy on them both as they did care for me when I was little.

(AlQuran. Surah Banii Israael. Para # 15)

2. It is described by Sayyidina Abu Huraira(radhiyallahu anhu) that Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) has said that, to spend on one’s wife, has great merit than giving charity to male and female slaves and beggars.  (Muslim)

3. Sayyidina Abdullah bin Masood (radhiyallahu anhu) reported that the greatest preference is to spend on one’s wife and children which is necessary and then it should be spent on close relatives. (Tibrani)

It is narrated in the extract of Sayyidina Arbez bin Saarya(radhiyallahu anhu) that even to give water to one’s wife is charity.

4. Sayyidina Abu Huraira(radhiyallahu anhu) reported that someone asked Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) that he had one gold coin with him, where should he spend it ? Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said that he should spend it on himself. The man said that he had one more and Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said that he should spend it on his wife. The man again said that he had yet another and Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said ,that he should spend on his servants. The man said that he had a fourth and Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said that he should spend it, on whatever he preferred. (Ibn Habban)

5. Sayyidina Sa’ad bin Waqqas(radhiyallahu anhu) reported that Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said that whosoever spends his money to gain Allah’s pleasure and goodwill, gets the credit of charity so much that even a morsel which he puts in the mouth of his wife, has the credit of charity.  ( Bukhari, Muslim)

Assalam o Alaikum,

Dear Readers,

Allah is all merciful and forgiving. We being his creatures cannot imagine how our Lord shower His blessings over us.

People who seem to be sinners to others are sometimes greatly blessed by the mercy of Allah. Any act done with pure intention is worth for Allah and He rewards us more than our imagination. And a little particle of sin may make us loose Allah’s blessings and take us to Hell, no matter how punctual we are in performing obligations of Islam.

That’s why we should not make any justifications about the good deeds and sins of others. Allah is watching all of us. We are tiny human beings, The Lord is all knowing.

If you go through the following Hadith extracted from Sahi Bukhari, you will realize that a good deed which seems to be very little time consuming can save a person from Hell fire.

* Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that.”  (Book #54, Hadith #538)

In the above Hadith a prostitute for forgiven by Allah because of kind heartedness she showed towards a living being.

* Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “While a man was walking he felt thirsty and went down a well and drank water from it. On coming out of it, he saw a dog panting and eating mud because of excessive thirst. The man said, ‘This (dog) is suffering from the same problem as that of mine. So he (went down the well), filled his shoe with water, caught hold of it with his teeth and climbed up and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for his (good) deed and forgave him.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving (the) animals?” He replied, “Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate.”  (Book #40, Hadith #551)

The above is another event extracted from the history, which is about a man who gave water to a thirsty dog and he was forgiven by Allah.

* Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar: Allah’s Apostle said, “A woman was tortured and was put in Hell because of a cat which she had kept locked till it died of hunger.” Allah’s Apostle further said, (Allah knows better) Allah said (to the woman), ‘You neither fed it nor watered when you locked it up, nor did you set it free to eat the insects of the earth.”  (Book #40, Hadith #553)

On the other hand the above Hadith gives us a great lesson. This Hadith is enough to realize that every act done by us is recorded in the books of Allah. The woman who was not a prostitute was put in Hell because of the violence she showed for an innocent cat.

No doubt the performance of obligations of Islam is must for a Muslim but good deeds and bad deeds also play a very important role in our lives here and hereafter.

This world is the first and the last place to earn reward for hereafter. Silently compete with each other to earn rewards.

How We Should Treat The Orphans:

In the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful

1.  Therefore Oppress not the Orphan.
(AlQuran.Surah AlZuhaa.Para # 30)

2.  And give unto Orphans their Wealth. and Exchange not the good for the bad (In your management thereof).Nor Absorb their Wealth into your Own Wealth. Surly that would be a Great Sin.
(AlQuran.Surah AlNisa.Para # 4)

3.  And give not unto the Unintelligent (What is in) your (keeping of their) Wealth, which Allah hath given you to maintain; but Feed And Clothe them from it and Speak Kindly unto them.
(AlQuran.Surah AlNisa.Para # 4)

4.  And Test the Orphans till they reach the Marriageable age; then if ye found them of Sound Judgement deliver unto them their Fortunes; and Devour them not by Squandering and in haste lest they should grow up.
(AlQuran.Surah AlNisa.Para # 4)

5.  Surely those who Devour the Wealth fully, they do but Swallow Fire into their Bellies , and they will be Exposed To Burning Flames.

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Islam

Islam has given equal rights to man and woman. Marriage is one of the very important and sensitive decisions of ones life. Islam has given a glad tiding to women that marriage without the consent of woman is invalid (Haram). Therefore it is necessary for the parents, guardian or family members to seek permission from the woman before making or finalizing her marriage bond.

After 1425 years of Islam, still we see many illiterate families which are following so-called cultures of their ancestors and do not bother to ask girls before tying them into marriage bond. Such negligence causes a lot of grievances in their own families and society; such marriages have a poor end !

Marriage of minor girl (who is not adult) can be performed without her consent. But after her becomes adult, she can cancel the marriage relation.

Before Islam it was a usual practice to take over the woman whose husband would die. But Islam forbade this practice. In Muslim rural areas and villages of Sub continent, it is still a practice to kill woman as soon as her husband dies. This custom is called ‘Karo Kaari’. In these areas widow woman is considered to be a blaspheme. Islamic Dawah organizations should visit these areas and teach their residents about the Islamic wisdom where woman is still deprived of false pagan traditions much resembling Hinduism.

* HADITH
Narrated Ibn Abbas: regarding the Divine Verse: “O you who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will, and you should not treat them with harshness that you may take back part of the (Mahr) dower you have given them.” (4.19) (Before this revelation) if a man died, his relatives used to have the right to inherit his wife, and one of them could marry her if he would, or they would give her in marriage if they wished, or, if they wished, they would not give her in marriage at all, and they would be more entitled to dispose her, than her own relatives. So the above Verse was revealed in this connection.  (Book #60, Hadith #103)

Parents, guardian and family members should take the woman and girls in confidence so that can freely inform their consent to them. Sometimes woman and girls are so much forced to show their positive consent that they remain quiet because of fear of their families and their families think that they are agree. The woman and girls who are reading this article should be aware of the rights Islam has granted them. If you are quiet because of your agreed consent then it is fine but if you do not agree to a proposal then speak; because silence is considered to be the permission.

* HADITH
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “A matron should not be given in marriage except after consulting her; and a virgin should not be given in marriage except after her permission.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! How can we know her permission?” He said, “Her silence (indicates her permission).”  (Book #62, Hadith #67)

Matron is the woman who had been married once. Just like the consent of a virgin girl is necessary, a matron’s consent is also necessary.

* HADITH
Narrated Khansa bint Khidam Al-Ansariya: that her father gave her in marriage when she was a matron and she disliked that marriage. So she went to Allah’s Apostle and he declared that marriage invalid.  (Book #62, Hadith #69)

Treating with Neighbors
Narrated ‘Aisha (Radi Allah Anha):
The Prophet (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said “Gabriel continued to recommend me about treating the neighbors Kindly and politely so much so that I thought he would order me to make them as my heirs.
[Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 73, Number 43]

Our beloved Prophet Mohammad (SallAllaho Alaihi Wasallam) has advised us to forgive the debt and not to take it back, if the debtor is poor. By doing so one can earn high rewards from Allah in the life hereafter and blessings and mercy of Almighty in this world as well.

• HADITH
  Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “A man used to give loans to the people and used to say to his servant, ‘If the debtor is poor, forgive him, so that Allah may forgive us.’ So when he met Allah (after his death), Allah forgave him.”  (Book #56, Hadith #687)

The above Hadith is enough to explain the virtues of forgiving debts and caring the poor. The wealth of Heaven is never ending, strive for that. Don’t run after the wealth of this Earth which is nothing but worthless than the wing of mosquito.
