Hadith on Dreams

Narrated by Abu Qatada (Radhiallaho anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “A good dream that comes true is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan, so if anyone of you sees a bad dream, he should seek refuge with Allah from Satan and should spit on the left, for the bad dream will not harm him.”
Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 115

Dreams, interpretation
Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallaho anho):

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “The (good) dream of a faithful believer is a part of the forty-six parts of prophetism.”
Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 117

Narrating a dream which one did not see
Narrated by Ibn Umar (Radhiallaho anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “The worst lie is that a person claims to have seen a dream which he has not seen.”

Obey Allah and obey the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallaho anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah, and whoever obeys the ruler I appoint, obeys me, and whoever disobeys him, disobeys me.”
