Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam ‘ala Rasulillah
As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
Narrated by Ibn Abbas(Radhiallaho anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “One who takes back his gift (which he has already given) is like a dog that swallows its vomit.”
Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 762
Compensation for a gift
Narrated by Aisha(Radhiallaho anha):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) used to accept gifts and used to give something in return.

The superiority of giving gifts
Narrated by Abu Huraira(Radhiallaho anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “O Muslim women! None of you should look down upon the gift sent by her she-neighbor even if it were the trotters of the sheep (fleshless part of legs).”
The Prophet (PBUH) said “Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse”
