The Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon him) And His Companions Real Life Story
1. SACRIFICE OF THE LAMB: Just as the Prophet (S.A.W.), and his companions landed from their rides, and
laid the loads down, it was decided that they would sacrifice a lamb for dinner.
One of the companions volunteered: “I will sacrifice the lamb.” Another: “I will skin it.” Third: “I will cook it.”
Fourth: ” I will….” The Prophet (S.A.W.): “I will gather the wood from the desert.”
The group: “O Messenger of Allah, it is not becoming of you to discomfort yourself as such. You rest. We will be honored to do all this on our own.”
The Prophet (S.A.W.): “I know that you are eager to do it all, but Allah isn’t pleased with the slave who distinguishes between himself and his companions and considers himself better than others.”
Then he went to the desert, and gathered some wood, and brought it to the group.
2. TYING THE CAMEL: The caravan had been traveling for a few hours now. Signs of fatigue were obvious on their faces. They arrived at a point and stopped. The Prophet (S.A.W.) who was also in the caravan, stopped the camel and landed. Before anything, they were in search of water to prepare for prayer.
The Prophet (S.A.W.) also started searching for water. But soon, returned to his camel, without saying anything to anyone. The companions were surprised that the Prophet (S.A.W.) had ordered stopping here, and now perhaps he would like to move again. Eyes and ears were awaiting his order. But the surprise of the group increased as they saw him approach his camel, tie its knees, and return in search of water.
Noises were raised from every corner: “O Prophet of Allah! Why didn’t you order us to do this for you, and instead you put yourself in discomfort? We would have proudly done that service for you.”
The Prophet (S.A.W.) responded: “Never seek others’ help in your affairs, don’t lean on others, even if it is a small piece of Miswak (the wood used for brushing teeth).”
- TELLING THE TRUTH: Telling the truth is a very good habit. If you always speak the truth, you can save yourself from a lot of trouble! Here is a story of a man who did a lot of bad things, but his promise to tell the truth saved him.
Once a man came to the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and said, “Oh prophet of Allah, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?” The prophet said, “Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth.” The man promised to do so and went home. At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the prophet. “If tomorrow the prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth,
everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing.”

Three Things Follow The Bier Of A Dead Man
[Sahih Muslim : Book 42 “Kitab Al-Zuhd wa Al-Raqa’iq”, Number 7061]
Mutarrif (Radi Allah Anhu) reported on the authority of his father: I came to Allah’s Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as he was reciting: “Abundance diverts you” He said (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam): “The son of Adam claims: My wealth, my wealth. And he (the Holy Prophet) said: O son of Adam. Is there anything as your belonging except that which you consumed, which you utilized, or which you wore, and then it was worn out, or you gave as charity and sent it forward?”
[Sahih Muslim : Book 42 “Kitab Al-Zuhd wa Al-Raqa’iq”, Number 7063]
Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah’s Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as saying: “A servant says, My wealth. My wealth, but out of his wealth three things are only his: whatever he eats and makes use of or by means of which he dresses himself, and it wears out, or he gives as charity, and this is what he stored for himself (as a reward for the Hereafter), and what is beyond this (it is of no use to you) because you are to depart and leave it for other people. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of al-‘Ala’ b. ‘Abd al-Rahman with the same chain of transmitters.”
[Sahih Muslim : Book 42 “Kitab Al-Zuhd wa Al-Raqa’iq”, Number 7064]
Anas b. Malik (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah’s Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as saying: “Three things follow the bier of a dead man. Two of them come back and one is left with him: the members of his family. Wealth and his-good deeds. The members of his family and wealth come back, and the deeds alone are left with him.”
Our Lord! Accept from us; surely Thou art the hearing, the Knowing.

How should one (ask Allah to) send blessings on you, the members of the family, for Allah has taught us how to salute you (in the prayer)?’ He said, ‘Say: O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah! You are indeed Worthy of praise, Full of glory.)'” (One of the narrators) ‘Abdur Rahman said: “We used to say: ‘And also upon us.'” Abu Abdur-Rahman (An Nasa’i) said: This is more worthy of being correct than the one that is before it. And we do not know of anyone who said “Amr bin Murrah” in it other than in this case. And Allah (SWT) knows best. (Sahih)
[Sunan an-Nasa’i, Book #13, Hadith #110]

Allahumma barik ‘ala Muhammadin, wa ‘ala ‘ali Muhammadin, kama barakta ‘ala ‘ali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidum Majid [O Allah, exalt the mention of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you exalted the family of Ibrahim. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Say:” O Allah: bless Muhammad and his family as Thou didst bless the family of Ibrahim. Verily Thou art Praiseworthy and Glorious, O Allah.” [Muslim, Book #4, Hadith #70]
11. Narrated Abu Huraira: Once while a Jew was selling something, he was offered a price that he was not pleased with. So, he said, “No, by Him Who gave Moses superiority over all human beings!” Hearing him, an Ansari man got up and slapped him on the face and said, “You say: By Him Who Gave Moses superiority over all human beings although the Prophet (peace be upon him) (Muhammad) is present amongst us!” The Jew went to the Prophet and said, “O Abu-l-Qasim! I am under the assurance and contract of security, so what right does so-and-so have to slap me?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked the other, “Why have you slapped”. He told him the whole story… The Prophet (peace be upon him) became angry, till anger appeared on his face, and said, “Don’t give superiority to any prophet amongst Allah’s Prophets, for when the trumpet will be blown, everyone on the earth and in the heavens will become unconscious except those whom Allah will exempt. The trumpet will be blown for the second time and I will be the first to be resurrected to see Moses holding Allah’s Throne. I will not know whether the unconsciousness which Moses received on the Day of Tur has been sufficient for him or has he got up before me. And I do not say that there is anybody who is better than Yunus bin Matta.” [Bukhari, Book 60, Hadith 87]
And Remember ALLAH’S Command [Quran – 2:136] “Say, [O believers], “We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.”
[Quran – 2:285] “The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. “We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His messengers.” And they say: “We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys.”
[Quran – 3:84] “Say (O Muhammad): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and that which was vouchsafed unto Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered.”
And Remember Allah’s Promise
[Quran – 4:152 – Shakir] “And those who believe in Allah and His messengers and do not make a distinction between any of them– Allah will grant them their rewards; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”
Be Not Of Those Who Will Be Condemned By The Prophet (PBUH)
[Quran – 25:30] “And the Messenger will say, “O my Lord, my people had made this Qur’an the object of their ridicule.”
Be Not Of Those Who Ignore Allah’s Unequivocal Declaration
[Quran – 98:7] “Those who believe and do good deeds are the best of creation.”

The Vision Of The Holy Prophet
The Holy Prophet Muhammed Sallallahu Alaihi wa sallam could see even from behind his back, more about this extra sensory perception later
Sahih Muslim Book 4, Number 0872: Anas b. Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Complete the rows, for I can see you behind my back.
Going to the deathbed of people just before they were about to die. The Tragedy of the death of the son of the Holy Prophet Muhammed Salalaahu Alaihi wasallam , Hazrat Syaddina Ibrahim(radiallahu taala anhu)
The Holy Prophet Muhammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam had to choose between Hazrat Imam Hussain Radi Allahu taala anhu and his son Hazrat Ibrahim, he chose Hazrat Imam Hussain Radi Allahu taala anhu, and conveyed to his son Hazrat Ibrahim embracing him what Allah had desired and the boy passed away in the presence of the Holy Prophet Muhammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam
Sahih Muslim Book 30, Number 5733: Anas b. Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: A child was born into me this night and I named him after the name of my father Ibrihim. He then sent him to Umm Saif, the wife of a blacksmith who was called Abu Saif. He (the Holy Prophet) went to him and I followed him until we reached Abu Saif he was blowing fire with the help of a blacksmith’s bellows and the house was filled with smoke. I hastened my step and went ahead of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Abu Saif, stop it, as there comes Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him). He stopped and Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) called for the child. He embraced him and said what Allah had desired. Anas said: I saw that the boy breathed his last in the presence of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him). The eyes of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) shed tears and he said: Ibrahim, our eyes shed tears and our hearts are filled with grief, but we do not say anything except that by which Allah is pleased. O Ibrahim, we are grieved for you.
Sahih Muslim Book 30, Number 5734: Anas b. Malik reported: I have never seen anyone more kind to one’s family than Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and Ibrahim was sent to the suburb of Medina for suckling. He used to go there and we accompanied him. He entered the house, and it was filled with smoke as his foster father was a blacksmith. He took him (his son Ibrihim) and kissed him and then came back. ‘Amr said that when Ibrihim died. Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Ibrihim is my son and he dies as a suckling babe. He has now two foster mothers who would complete his suckling period in Paradise.
The conversion to Islam of the Jewish boy moments from his death , the Jewish boy used to serve the Holy Prophet Muhammed Salalaahu Alaihi wasallam
There used to be a Jewish boy who used to serve the Prophet Muhammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and attend his gatherings. So you can see that even the Non-Muslims used to love the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam so much that they used to serve him and be proud of it.
How did he serve the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam?
Well, he used to bring water for Wudu (Ablution) and once the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam used to arrive and take his shoes off, he would pick them up and carry them around until needed. If the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was about to leave, he would place the shoes near his feet.
After a few days, everyone noticed that the Jewish boy hadn’t been coming for days. Even then the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam wasn’t pressuring or possessing a hard temperament but he asked his companions” A few days have passed and I haven’t seen that Jewish boy’s face, They replied that he has been ill for a few days lying on his bed.
He, the Prophet Sallalaahu Alaihi wasallam said “O Abu Bakr Radiallahu taala anhu, Umer (Radiallahu taala anhu) let’s go to his house and see how he is. Now think for a moment do we Muslims even go to our Muslim brothers’ house to see how he is? while the Prophet Sallalaahu Alahi wasallam was so noble that he went to see a Jewish boy taking with him two of the highest-ranked companions. They arrived at his house and Prophet Sallalaahu Alaihi wasallam sat on his bed.
The Jewish boy used to listen to Quran and hadith by attending the Prophet’s gatherings but the Jewish boy never accepted Islam nor did Prophet Salallahu Alaihi wasallam persuade or pressure him to. These are the etiquettes of Dawah which should be shown by actions rather than words.
The Prophet Salallahu Alaihi wasallam asks the Jewish boy why don’t you accept my religion and read the Shahadah. The Jewish boy looked at his father but his father was silent and the boy fearful. The Prophet SalAllahu Alaih wasallam asked him again and the Jewish boy looked at his father but this time his father replied “O my son what are you looking at me for, This is Abul Qasim (The Truthful Person) speaking, believe whatever he says the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi wasallam doesn’t honor every house and make such requests. He himself has come here so accept his religion and leave mine.
The Jewish boy read the Shahadah and then Prophet Salallahu Alaihi wasallam became happy and started making invocations for him. As soon as Prophet Salallahu Alaihi wasallam left his house, the boy’s soul left his body. The Prophetic vision saw that the angel of death was approaching, his mercy couldn’t tolerate that one who carried my shoes during his lifetime and filled water for my Wuzu (Ablution) ended up in hell fire.
The Prophet Salallahu Alaihi wasallam came onto the street, raised his hands, and invoked “Praise be to Allah who by MEANS OF ME took this child out of hell”
This Hadith contains the words of Intercession

Tafseer Ibn-e-Kathir
A young Jew became ill. The Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) went to visit him. He sat down by his head and said to him: Accept Islam. He looked at his father who was beside him near his head, and he said: Obey Abu al-Qasim. So he accepted Islam, and the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) stood up saying: Praise be to Allah Who has saved him through me from Hell.

The Holy Prophet Muhammed Salalaahu Alaihi wasallam could see with his eyes closed, His heart never sleeps
Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 56, Number 770: Narrated Sharik bin ‘Abdullah bin Abi Namr: I heard Anas bin Malik telling us about the night when the Prophet was made to travel from the Ka’ba Mosque. Three persons (i.e. angels) came to the Prophet before he was divinely inspired as an Apostle), while he was sleeping in Al Masjid-ul-Haram. The first (of the three angels) said, “Which of them is he?” The second said, “He is the best of them.” That was all that happened then, and he did not see them till they came another night and he perceived their presence with his heart, for the eyes of the Prophet were closed when he was asleep, but his heart was not asleep (not unconscious). This is characteristic of all the prophets: Their eyes sleep but their hearts do not sleep. Then Gabriel took charge of the Prophet and ascended along with him to Heaven.
Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 12, Number 818: Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: One night I slept at the house of my aunt Maimuna and the Prophet slept (too). He got up (for prayer) in the last hours of the night and performed a light ablution from a hanging leather skin. (‘Amr, the sub-narrator described that the ablution was very light). Then he stood up for prayer and I got up too and performed the ablution in the same way and joined him on his left side. He pulled me to the right and prayed as much as Allah will. Then he lay down and slept and I heard his breath sounds till the Mu’adh-dhin came to him to inform him about the (Fajr) prayer. He left with him for the prayer and prayed without repeating the ablution. (Sufyan the subnarrator said: We said to ‘Amr, “Some people say, ‘The eyes of the Prophet sleep but his heart never sleeps.’ ” ‘Amr said, “‘Ubai bin ‘Umar said, ‘The dreams of the Prophets are Divine Inspirations. Then he recited, ‘(O my son), I have seen in dream that I was slaughtering you (offering you in sacrifice).”) (37.102)
The Holy Prophet Muhammed Salalaahu Alaihi wasallam sees and converses with Angels
Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 12, Number 814: Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: The Prophet said, “Whoever eats garlic or onion should keep away from our mosque or should remain in his house.” (Jabir bin ‘Abdullah, in another narration said, “Once a big pot containing cooked vegetables was brought. On finding an unpleasant smell coming from it, the Prophet asked, ‘What is in it?’ He was told all the names of the vegetables that were in it. The Prophet ordered that it should be brought near to some of his companions who were with him. When the Prophet saw it he disliked to eat it and said, ‘Eat. (I don’t eat) for I converse with those whom you don’t converse with (i.e. the angels,).”
The Effect of nearness to the Holy Prophet Muhammed Salalaahu Alaihi wasallam on the Sahaba
There is no doubt of the extraordinary vision of the Holy Prophet, even the Sahabas in his presence would get Spiritually charged and the effect would go away when they were away from him
Sahih Muslim Book 37, Number 6623: Hanzala Usayyidi, who was amongst the scribes of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him). reported: I met Abu Bakr. He said: Who are you? He (Hanzala) said: Hanzala has turned out to be a hypocrite. He (Abu Bakr) said: Hallowed be Allah, what are you saying?
Thereupon he said: I say that when we are in the company of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) we ponder over Hell-Fire and Paradise as if we are seeing them with our very eyes and when we are away from Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) we attend to our wives, our children, our business; most of these things (pertaining to After-life) slip out of our minds.
Abu Bakr said: By Allah, I also experience the same. So Abu Bakr and I went to Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said to him: Allah’s Messenger, Hanzala has turned to be a hypocrite. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: What has happened to you?
I said: Allah’s Messenger, when we are in your company, we are reminded of Hell-Fire and Paradise as if we are seeing them with our own eyes, but whenever we go away from you and attend to our wives, children, and business, much of these things go out of our minds.
Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if your state of mind remains the same as it is in my presence and you are always busy in remembrance (of Allah), the Angels will shake hands with you in your beds and in your paths but, Hanzala, time should be devoted (to the worldly affairs) and time (should be devoted to prayer and meditation). He (the Holy Prophet) said this thrice.
Sahih Muslim Book 37, Number 6623:
The above hadees tells two things in the sentence, Tallukh and Amaal, that is Association or Reverence and deeds, or Faith and Deeds, two essential parts in developing Spiritual power, nearness to Allah’s Prophet and remembrance of Allah, the following is the sentence which conveys this message
if your state of mind remains the same as it is in my presence and you are always busy in remembrance (of Allah), the Angels will shake hands with you in your beds and in your paths
An example of the Vision developed through the nearness of Allah’s Apostle
The Spiritual power of Hazrat Umar radiallahu taala anhu
Well-grounded and groomed in the purifying and illumining, holy and divine companionship of the Spiritual Sovereign of the Universe (The Holy Prophet), the close associates and comrades of our dearest Prophet (Sallalaahu Alaihi wasallam) were the Spiritual Super Conducting Magnets refined through process of ‘Tazkia’. The Holy Messenger (Sallalaahu Alaihi wasallam ) himself spiritually charged them. Without physical means, they could spiritually scan and monitor even the combats against the unbelievers and issue commands to their war commanders engaged in far-off battlefields. In a war against the adversaries of Islam, the commander of the Muslim army Saria bin Jabal(Rahamatulla Alai) deployed his troops against the adversaries. In the event of war, the enemy changed its strategy and encircled the Muslim troops, catching them unaware. The Second Caliph of the Muslims, Hadrat Umar Farooq (radiallahu taala anhu) was, at that moment, delivering his Juma’a address in Madînah. Owing to his spiritual concentration, he scanned the battlefield, saw the positions of both the warring armies, and addressed the commander of his forces:
O Saria, take cover of the hill.’
- (i) Muhammad Khatib Tabrizi, Mishkat-ul-masabih, b. of fada’il
(virtues and merits) Ch.8 (3:318 # 5954);
(ii) Abu Nu‘aym, Dalail–un-nubuwwah (p. 507);
(iii) ‘Ali al-Hindi Kanz-ul-‘ummal (12:571,572,573#35788-91).
After issuing this command, he continued his address. He was neither equipped with any radar nor had he any direct TV Channel to monitor such a distant activity. Delivering his address in ‘Nabvi Mosque’ in Madînah, he issued instructions to his army commander engaged in the strategy of war. This was his Spiritual Magnetic Force and his inner vision that watched everything. The commander Hadrat Saria-bin-Jabal received the message of the Caliph, implemented his orders, took shelter of the hill as advised and in consequence thereof won the war. The enemy was defeated and the Muslim forces gained victory.

Miracles Of The Prophet Muhammad PBUH
1. The Holy Qur’an is the living miracle bestowed by Allah upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and this, Allah’s Book, was revealed to him through the (Gabriel). Today 1450 years have passed and nobody has been able to change a single letter or produce its imitation, as it is said in the Quran (See Surah Hijr, V.15:9) and the statement of the Prophet: “Before me, every Prophet was given a miracle and they practiced it during their lifetime: e.g., ‘Isa (Jesus) used to cure the sick and make the dead alive, etc., Musa (Moses) was given the stick, etc., and I have been given the permanent miracle of the Qur’an till the Hour is established, so I hope that my followers will be more in number than all the other Messengers’ as my miracle will last till the Day of Resurrection, and it is a Glorious Book; when anyone reads it, even if he is a pagan, etc., he is convinced that it is produced by none but by the Creator of the heavens and the earth.”
2. The splitting of the moon: Narrated Anas RA, that the Makkans requested Allah’s Messenger to show them a miracle, so he showed the splitting of the moon. ( See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 831).
3. The crying of the stem of the date palm tree in the Prophet’s Mosque: Narrated by Ibn ‘Umar, the prophet used to deliver his Khutba (religious talk) while leaning against a date palm tree trunk. When he had the pulpit made and used it instead, the trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying). (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 783).
4. The flowing of the water from among the fingers of Allah’s Messenger (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 779.)
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: I was with the Prophet and the time for the ‘Asr prayer became due. We had no water with us except a little which was put in a vessel and was brought to perform ablution. The blessing is from Allah.” I saw the water gushing out from his fingers. So the people performed the ablution and drank, and I tried to drink more of that water (beyond my thirst and capacity), for I knew it was a blessing. The sub-narrator said: I asked Jabir, “How many persons were you then?” He replied, ” “We were one thousand four hundred men.” (Salim said: Jabir said – 1500). (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.7, Hadith No. 543.)
5. The Prophet’s meals used to glorify Allah while he ate, and this glorification was heard by the companions of the Prophet (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 779).

7. The throwing out of the dead body of a Christian by the earth: Narrated Anas: There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran and he used to write the revelation for the Prophet. Later on, he reverted to Christianity and used to say, “Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him.” Then Allah caused him to die and the people buried him but in the morning they found that the earth had thrown out his body. They said, “This is the deed of Muhammad and his companions. They have opened the grave of our companion and took his body out because he ran away from them,” so they again dug the grave deeper for him, but in the morning they again found that the earth had thrown the body out. They said, “This is a deed of Muhammad and his companions.” So they dug a third grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning they found that the earth had thrown the body out. Then they believed what had befallen him, was not done by mankind, and they had to leave the body on the ground. (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 814).

11. Speaking of the wolf: I have been written that a wolf also spoke to one of the companions of the Prophet near Al-Madina, as narrated in Musnad of Ahmad, Vol.3, Page 83, Musnad Abi Saeed Al-Khudri. Narrated Abi Saeed Al-Khudri: (While a shepherd was amongst his sheep) Suddenly a wolf attacked a sheep and took it away. The shepherd chased the wolf and back the sheep. The wolf sat on its tail and addressed the shepherd saying: “Be afraid of Allah, you have taken the provision from me which Allah gave me.” The shepherd said: “What an amazing thing! A wolf sitting on its tail speaks to me in the language of a human being.” The wolf said: “Shall I tell you something more amazing than this? There is Muhammad (the Messenger of Allah) in Yathrib (Al-Madina) informing the people about the news of the past.” Then the shepherd proceeded (towards Al-Madina) driving his sheep till he entered Al-Madina (city), cornered his sheep to one side, and came to Allah’s Messenger (Muhammad ) and informed the whole story.
Allah’s Messenger ordered the proclamation of a congregational prayer, then he came out and asked the shepherd to inform the people (about his story) and he informed them. Then Allah’s Messenger said: “He (the shepherd) has spoken the truth. By Him (Allah) in Whose Hands my soul is, the Day of Resurrection will not be established till beasts of prey speak to the human beings, and the stick lash and the shoe-laces of a person speaks to him and his thigh inform him about his family as to what happened to them after him. {Musnad Ahmad, Vol. 3, Page 83. Musnad Abi Saeed Al-Khudri}.
