Ashab e Suffa
And Who Forsakes The Religion Of Ibraheem (alaihi salaam)
“And spend in the way of Allah and cast not yourselves to perdition with your own hands, and do good (to others); surely Allah loves the doers of good.”
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 124] And when his Lord tried Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) with certain words, he fulfilled them. He said: Surely I will make you an Imam of men. Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) said: And of my offspring? My covenant does not include the unjust, said He.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 125] And when We made the House a pilgrimage for men and a (place of) security, and: Appoint for yourselves a place of prayer on the standing-place of Ibraheem (alaihi salaam). And We enjoined Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) and Ismaeel (alaihi salaam) saying: Purify My House for those who visit (it) and those who abide (in it) for devotion and those who bow down (and) those who prostrate themselves.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 126] And when Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) said: My Lord, make it a secure town and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the last day. He said: And whoever disbelieves, I will grant him enjoyment for a short while, then I will drive him to the chastisement of the fire, and it is an evil destination.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 127] And when Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) and Ismaeel (alaihi salaam) raised the foundations of the House: Our Lord! accept from us; surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 128] Our Lord! and make us both submissive to Thee and (raise) from our offspring a nation submitting to Thee, and show us our ways of devotion and turn to us (mercifully), surely Thou art the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 129] Our Lord! and raise up in them an Apostle from among them who shall recite to them Thy communications and teach them the Book and the wisdom, and purify them; surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 130] And who forsakes the religion of Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) but he who makes himself a fool, and most certainly We chose him in this world, and in the hereafter he is most surely among the righteous.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 131] When his Lord said to him, Be a Muslim, he said: I submit myself to the Lord of the worlds.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 132] And the same did Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) enjoin on his sons and (so did) Yaqoub (alaihi salaam). O my sons! surely Allah has chosen for you (this) faith, therefore die not unless you are Muslims.
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 133] Nay! Were you witnesses when death visited Yaqoub (alaihi salaam) when he said to his sons: What will you serve after me? They said: We will serve your God and the God of your fathers, Ibraheem (alaihi salaam) and Ismaeel (alaihi salaam) and Ishaaq (alaihi salaam), one God only, and to Him do we submit.

Quran: A Complete Book Of Allah
[6. Surah Al-An’am: Ayah 120] And abandon open and secret sin; surely they who earn sin shall be recompensed with what they earned.
[4. Sura An-Nisaa: Ayah 82] Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.
[17.Sura Bani Israel: Ayah 82.88,89,106] And We reveal of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers, and it adds only to the perdition of the unjust.
Say: If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others.
And certainly, We have explained for men in this Quran every kind of similitude, but most men do not consent to aught but denying.
And it is a Quran which We have revealed in portions so that you may read it to the people by slow degrees, and We have revealed it, revealing in portions.
[18. Sura Kahf: Ayah 27,54,57] And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord, there is none who can alter His words, and you shall not find any refuge besides Him.
And certainly, We have explained in this Quran every kind of example, and man is most of all given to contention.
And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the communications of his Lord, then he turns away from them and forgets what his two hands have sent before? Surely We have placed veils over their hearts lest they should understand it and a heaviness in their ears; and if you call them to guidance, they will not ever follow the right course in that case.
[25. Sura Furqan: Ayah 50] And certainly We have repeated this to them that they may be mindful, but the greater number of men do not consent to aught except denying.
[30. Sura Ar-Rum: Ayah 58] “And certainly We have set forth for men every kind of example in this Quran; and if you should bring them a communication, those who disbelieve would certainly say: You are naught but false claimants.”
[39. Sura Az-Zumar: Ayah 27-28] “And certainly We have set forth to men in this Quran similitudes of every sort that they may mind. An Arabic Quran without any crookedness, that they may guard (against evil).”
[44. Sura Ad-Dukhan: Ayah 3-4] “Surely We revealed it on a blessed night surely We are ever warning– Therein every wise affair is made distinct.”
[54. Sura Qamar: Ayah 17,22,32,40] “And certainly We have made the Quran easy for remembrance, but is there anyone who will mind?”
[56. Sura Waqia: Ayah 77-79] “Most surely it is an honored Quran, In a book that is protected None shall touch it save the purified ones.”
Our Lord, pour down upon us patience, make our steps firm, and assist us against the unbelieving people.

Surely Good Deeds Take Away Evil Deeds
[9.Surah At-Tawba: Ayah 18] Only he shall visit the masajids of Allah who believes in Allah and the latter day, and keeps up prayer and pays the poor-rate and fears none but Allah; so (as for) these, it may be that they are of the followers of the right course.
[11.Surah Hud: Ayah 114] And keep up prayer in the two parts of the day and in the first hours of the night; surely good deeds take away evil deeds this is a reminder to the mindful.
[20. Surah Ta-ha: Ayah 130] And glorify your Lord by the praising of Him before the rising of the sun and before its setting, and during hours of the night do also glorify (Him) and during parts of the day, that you may be well pleased.
Our Lord! accept from us; surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.

Muhammad-ur-Rasoolullah (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam)
[9. Surah Tauba: Ayah 128] Certainly an Apostle has come to you from among yourselves; grievous to him is your falling into distress, excessively solicitous respecting you; to the believers (he is) compassionate.
[3. Surah Aal-e-Imran: Ayah 144] And Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) is no more than an apostle; the apostles have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels!s, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful.
[33. Surah Al-Ahzab: Ayah 40] Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Apostle of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things.
[21. Surah Al-Anbiyaa: Ayah 107] And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds.
[18. Surah Al-Kahf: Ayah 110] Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your god is one God, therefore whoever hopes to meet his Lord, he should do good deeds, and not join any one in the service of his Lord.
[21. Surah Al-Anbiyaa: Ayah 34] “And We did not ordain abiding for any mortal before you. What! Then if you die, will they abide?”
[48. Surah Fateh : Ayah 29] Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) is the Apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Taurat and their description in the Injeel.
[Sahih Bukhari: Volume 5, Book 55 Prophets, Number 654] Narrated ‘Umar (Radi Allah Anhu): I heard the Prophet (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) saying, “Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Mary, for I am only a Slave. So, call me the Slave of Allah and His Apostle.”
Our Lord! accept from us; surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.

The Prayer Of A Believer
[Allah’s Quran 46:15] “O my Lord! Please Inspire me to be Grateful forever for thy Favours to me and to my Parents and Please Guide me so that I may do Righteous Deeds, well Pleasing To thee; Please Grant me Righteous Descendents; truly I have turned To thee repentant and Truly do I Submit To thee as a Believer”
[Comment – Ibn Kathir] “My Lord! Grant me the power and ability) meaning, ‘inspire me.’ (that I may be grateful for Your favors which You have bestowed upon me and my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You,) meaning, in the future. (and make my offspring good.) meaning, my offspring and descendants. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims.) This contains an instruction for anyone who reaches forty years of age to renew his repentance and turn to Allah with strong resolution.”
