It Is Recommended To Wait And Not Eat Food While It Is Still Very Hot
It is related from Asmaa Bint Abu Bakr (ra) that when she would prepare a broth, she would cover it for some time until it would stop boiling (or until it would no longer be extremely hot). After related this practice, she said, Verily, I heard the Messenger of Allah (saas) say,
Verily doing so allows for a greater degree of Barakah (blessings.) 1
Abu Hurairah (ra) said, Food should not be eaten until its steam goes away.2 In Zaad Al-Maaad, Ibn Al-Qayyim said that the Prophet (saas) would not eat food while it was intensely hot. And again, Barakah in this context means safety from harm as a result of eating, the nourishment provided by the food, and strength achieved for obeying Allah (swt)
1) Ad-Daarimee related it (2047), and Al-Albaanee included it in his Silsilatus-Saheehah (392). Ahmed related it as well (26418)
2) When grading this Hadeeth in Irwaa Al-Ghaleel, Al-Albaanee said, Saheeh, and Al-Baihaqee related it (7/2580)
Hadith On Breaking Fasting
Sahih Bukhari Hadith
Breaking fast at the end of the day
Hadith 3.175 Narrated by Umar bin Al Khattab (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)
Allah’s Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, ” When night falls from this side and the day vanishes from this side and the sun sets, then the fasting person should break his fast.”
Hadith 3.176 Narrated by Abdullah bin Abi Aufa (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)
We were in the company of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) on a journey and he was fasting, and when the sun set, he addressed somebody, “O so-and-so, get up and mix Sawiq with water for us.” He replied, “O Allah’s Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)! (Will you wait) till it is evening?” The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “Get down and mix Sawiq with water for us.” He replied, “O Allah’s Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)! (If you wait) till it is evening.” The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said again, “Get down and mix Sawiq with water for us.” He replied, “It is still daytime.”(1) The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said again, “Get down and mix Sawiq with water for us.” He got down and mixed Sawiq for them. The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) drank it and then said, “When you see night falling from this side, the fasting person should break his fast.”
Breaking fast with water or anything available
Hadith 3.177 Narrated by Abdullah bin Abi Aufa (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)
We were traveling with Allah’s Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) and he was fasting, and when the sun set, he said to (someone), “Get down and mix Sawiq with water for us.” He replied, “O Allah’s Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)! (Will you wait) till it is evening?” The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) again said, “Get down and mix Sawiq with water for us.” He replied, “O Allah’s Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)! It is still daytime.” The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said again, “Get down and mix Sawiq with water for us.” So, he got down and carried out that order. The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) then said, “When you see night falling from this side, the fasting person should break his fast,” and he beckoned with his finger towards the east.
Hastening the breaking of the fast
Hadith 3.178 Narrated by Sahl bin Sad (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)
Allah’s Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, ” The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast.”
Hadith 3.179 Narrated by Ibn Abi Aufa (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)
I was with the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) on a journey, and he observed the fast till evening. The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said to a man, ” Get down and mix Sawiq with water for me.” He replied, “Will you wait till it is evening?” The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, ” Get down and mix Sawiq with water for me; when you see night falling from this side, the fasting person should break his fast.”
Breaking fast before time by mistake
Hadith 3.180 Narrated by Abu Usama from Hisham bin Ursa from Fatima (Radhiallah hu Taala anhaa)
Asma bint Abu Bakr (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu) said, ” We broke our fast during the lifetime of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) on a cloudy day and then the sun appeared.” Hisham (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu) was asked, ” Were they ordered to fast in lieu of that day?” He replied, “It had to be made up for.” Ma’mar (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu) said, “I heard Hisham saying, ” I don’t know whether they fasted in lieu of that day or not.”
Virtues Of Salat
“Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radhiyallaho anho) narrates that once the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) asked his companions, ‘Do you believe that dirt can remain on a person bathing five times a day in a brook running in front of his door?’ ‘No’, replied the companions, ‘No dirt can remain on his body.’ The Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) remarked: So, exactly similar is the effect of salaat offered five times a day. With the Grace of Allah, it washes away all the sins’.”
HADITH – 4(b)
“Hadhrat Jaabir (Radhiyallaho anho) narrates that he heard the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) saying:
“The likeness of five times daily salaat is as the likeness of a deep brook running in front of the door of a person who bathes therein five times a day.”
Running water is generally free from dirt, and the deeper it runs the cleaner and purer it is. A bath in such water surely removes dirt from the body and makes it clean. Salaat offered with due regard for its essentials likewise cleanses the soul of all sins. There are several Ahaadith of the same meaning, though with slight variations in expression, narrated by different companions of the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam). Hadhrat Abu Sa’eed Khudri (Radhiyallaho anho] narrates that he heard the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) saying:
‘Each of the five salaats expiates the sins committed since the salaat preceding it. To explain, let us take the case of a person working in a factory. His job is such that his body gets covered with dust. But there are five streams of running water in between the factory and his house and, on his return from the job, he takes a bath in each stream. The effect of five times daily salaat is quite similar. Any sins of omission and commission between two salaats are forgiven on account of ‘istighfaar and taubah in each salaat.’
The Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) through such parables, aims at impressing that salaat has the wonderful power of removing the sins. If we fail to avail of Allah’s mercy, surely we ourselves are the losers.
To err is human. We are likely to commit innumerable acts of displeasing Allah and deserve thereby. His wrath and punishment, but look how relenting our dear Allah is! He has most graciously shown us the way to earn His mercy and forgiveness. It is a great pity if we do not avail of this great favour. Our Allah is always eager to show us His mercy on very small grounds. It is said in a Hadith, that if a person goes to bed with the intention of getting up for Ta-hajjud and perchance does not wake up, he receives the full reward for Tahajjud, although he has been enjoying his sleep at the time of Tahajjud. How boundless is the grace of Allah and what a tremendous loss and deprivation if we do not receive blessings from such a Giver.
Miscellaneous Hadith
Narrated by ‘ Ibn Umar : Allah’s Apostle said, “The worst lie is that a person claims to have seen a dream which he has not seen.”
Narrated by Ibn ‘ Umar : I saw in a dream a piece of silken cloth in my hand, and in whatever direction in Paradise I waved it, it flew, carrying me there. I narrated this (dream) to (my sister) Hafsa and she told it to the
Prophet who said, (to Hafsa), “Indeed, your brother is a righteous man,” or, “Indeed, ‘Abdullah is a righteous man.”
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with awe (cast into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping last night, the keys of the treasures of the
earth were brought to me till they were put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle left (this world) and now you people are carrying those treasures from place to place.
It is learnd tat one day when Prophet(pbuh) was to deliver the speech on a Friday. He(pbuh) climbed the stairs of the Mimber-e-mubarak and said AMEEEN thrice climbing each step. The follower’s(r.a) inquired about that and Prophet(pbuh) replied that when He(pbuh) was climbing the stairs of the Mimber-e-mubarak Jibrael-e-Ameen came and made three supplications to the Almighty ALLAH on which Prophet(pbuh) said Ameen.
It is the matter of concern that the supplication was made by best of the angel’s and Prophet(pbuh) said Ameeen on that….. The following are the three supplications made by Jibrael-e-Ameen on which Prophet(pbuh) said Ameeen..
1. Curse of ALLAH be on the person who does not fast during the month of Ramadan even if he’s well (without any diseases or physical problems).
2. Curse of ALLAH be on the person who do not obey and listen to their parents.
3. Curse of ALLAH be on the person who after listening and saying the name of the Holy Prophet(pbuh) do not recite DAROOD SHAREEF.
May ALLAH paak guide us the straight path and bless us all with the wealth of reciting DAROOD SHAREEF all the time.. Ameeeeen YA RABBAL ALAMIN..

Do Not Curse
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Radiallahu Anhuma) reported Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) as saying, “The believer is not given to cursing.” A version has “It is noy fitting for a believer to be given to cursing.”
(Tirmizi Sharif)
Hazrat Samura Bin Jundub (Radiyallahu Anhu) reported Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) as saying, “Do not invoke Allah’s curse, Allah’s curse, Allah’s anger, or Jahannam on one another.” A version has, “or Hell.”
(Tirmizi Sharif)
Hazrat Abu Dardaa (Radiyallahu Anhu) told that he heard Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) say, “When a man curses anything the curse goes upto heaven and the gates of heaven are locked against it. Then it comes down to the earth and its gates are locked against it. It then goes right and left ,and if it finds no place of entrance it returns to the thing which was cursed, and if it deserves what was said (it enters it) ; otherwise it returns to the one who uttered it.”
(Abu Dawood)
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radiyallahu Anhu) told that the wind snatched away a man’s cloak and he cursed it, so Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “Do not curse it, for it is under command, and if anyone curses a thing undeservedly the curse returns upon him.”
(Tirmizi Sharif,Abu Dawood)
Who Enjoys God’s Shelter
When life on earth ends and the Day of Resurrection arrives, all mankind will be resurrected. They come hurriedly out of their graves to stand in an open expanse. No one looks at another, because they are all preoccupied with their own destiny. The sun is brought near and the heat is enormous. They suffer the heat according to their own deeds. Some of them will be so profusely sweating that their sweat reaches as high as their knees, or even higher. Yet seven types of people are immune from that heat. Who are these?
Abu Hurayrah quotes the Prophet (peace be upon him) as saying: “Seven types shall enjoy God’s shelter on the Day when there is no shelter other than what He provides: a just ruler, a young man who is brought up as a committed worshipper, a man whose heart always inclines toward mosques, two friends whose friendship is for God’s service: it is uppermost in their minds when they meet and when they part, a man who resists seduction by a woman of power and beauty saying to her, “I fear God,” a man who gives something to charity in secret so as his left hand would not know what his right hand has given away, and a man who remembers God when alone and his eyes are tearful.” (Related by Al-Bukhari).
We must first of all make clear that whatever applies to men in this Hadith also applies to women. When we read this Hadith carefully, we realize that it speaks of people who are true believers and whose faith is so strong that they are able to put it ahead of all other considerations. Let us briefly look at each one of the seven.
There is no doubt that any ruler will be hard pressed to maintain justice in all situations and all types of dispute. Therefore, a ruler who makes ensuring justice his priority needs to put up very hard effort not to err against justice. This ensures for him God’s protection on the Day of Judgment.
Scholars explain that although the Prophet mentions rulers in this Hadith, this type includes anyone who is in a position of authority over others and maintains justice between them. Thus it includes every head of a department who supervises a number of employees, an army officer who commands a number of soldiers, a company owner or director who ensures justice among his staff, etc. In fact it also includes a teacher who does not favor certain students over others and a parent who has several children and treats them equally. The Prophet says: “The just will be with God, sitting on desks of light, to the right of the Lord of Grace. These are the ones who maintain justice in their rulings, and within their families, and with whoever is under their authority.” (Related by Muslim).
The just ruler is specifically stated here because his rules affect a large number of people. When he maintains justice and makes it uppermost among his concerns all his people will benefit.
Young people are often tempted by their strong desires and flowing energy. They find it hard to resist tempting situations. Therefore, when a young person goes through youth, adolescence and early adulthood attending to his worship, preferring always to remain obedient to God, he deserves reward of the richest type. His resistance of temptation indicates that he is truly God-fearing. The Prophet says in another Hadith: “God is particularly pleased with a young person who does not give in to desire.” Hence, such young people are included in the seven categories enjoying God’s favor.
