Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah s Messenger (peace be upon him) who is the most truthful said: Verily your creation is in this wise. The constituents of one of you are collected for forty days in his mother s womb in the form of blood, after which it becomes a clot of blood in another period of forty days. Then it becomes a lump of flesh and forty days later Allah sends His angel with instructions concerning four things, so the angel writes down his livelihood, his death, his deeds, his fortune, and his misfortune. By Him, besides Whom there is no god, that one amongst you acts like the people deserving Paradise until between him and Paradise there remains but the distance of a cubit, when suddenly the writing of destiny overcomes him and he begins to act like the denizens of Hell and thus enters Hell, and another one acts in the way of the denizens of Hell until there remains between him and Hell a distance of a cubit that the writing of destiny overcomes him and then he begins to act like the people of Paradise and enters Paradise

How To Strengthen Our Faith
Recite and ponder on the meanings of the Qur’an. Tranquility then descends and our hearts become soft. To get optimum benefit, remind yourself that Allah is addressing you. People are described in different categories in the Qur’an; think of which one you find yourself in.
Realize the greatness of Allah. There are signs in everything we see that points us to His greatness. Everything happens according to His permission. Allah keeps track and looks after everything, even a black ant on a black rock on a black moonless night.
Make an effort to gain Islamic knowledge. Learn at least the basic things we need to know in daily life, e.g. how to make Wudhu properly. Know the meanings of Allah’s names and attributes. Only those who have knowledge truly fear Allah (Refer Qur’an, 35:28).
Attend gatherings where Allah is remembered and His religion is taught.
Do more good deeds. One good deed leads to another good deed. Good deeds must be done continuously, not in spurts.
Remember death, the destroyer of pleasures, frequently.
Ponder over the different stages of the Hereafter. From graves to being raised on the Day of Judgment to one’s final destination in paradise or hell-fire.
Make Du’a. Realize that we need Allah. Be humble. Don’t covet material things in this life.
Every night, before going to sleep, think about the good deeds and the sins we did during that day.
Realize the effects of sins and disobedience. Eemaan (faith) increases with good deeds and decreases with sins.
La Haula Wala Quwata Illa Billah

Narrated Abu Musa (Radi Allah Anhu): While we were with Allah’s Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) in a holy battle, we never went up a hill or reached its peak or went down a valley but raised our voices with Takbir. Allah’s Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) came close to us and said, “O people! Don’t exert yourselves, for you do not call a deaf or an absent one, but you call the All-Listener, the All-Seer.” The Prophet (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) then said, “O ‘Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I teach you a sentence that is from the treasures of Paradise? ( It is): ‘La haula wala quwata illa billah. (There is neither might nor power except with Allah).” [Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 77 ‘Al-Qadar’, Number 607]
Witnesses To The Truth
[ALLAH’S Quran – 57:19] “And those who believe in Allah and His messengers- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward and their Light. But those who reject Allah and deny Our Signs,- they are the Companions of Hell-Fire.”
The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has said:
[Muslim, Book #001, Hadith #0043] “It is narrated on the authority of Ubadah b. Samit that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: He who said:” There is no god but Allah, He is One and There is no associate with Him, that Muhammad is his servant and His Messenger, that Christ is servant and the son of His slave-girl and he (Christ) His word which He communicated to Mary and is His Spirit, that Paradise is a fact and Hell is a fact,”Allah would make him (he who affirms these truths enter Paradise through any one of its eight doors which he would like.”
[Muslim, Book #001, Hadith #0045] “It is narrated on the authority of Sunabihi……………. I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: He who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, Allah would prohibit the fire of hell for him.”
[Muslim, Book #001, Hadith #0051] “It is reported on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Prophet of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) addressed Mu’adh b. Jabal as he was riding behind him to which he replied: At thy beck and call, and at thy pleasure, Messenger of Allah. He again called out: Mu’adh, to which he (again) replied: At thy beck and call, and at thy pleasure. He (the Holy Prophet) addressed him (again): Mu’adh, to which he replied: At thy beck and call, and at thy pleasure, Messenger of Allah. Upon this, he (the Holy Prophet) observed: If anyone testifies (sincerely from his heart) that There is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His bondsman and His Messenger, Allah immuned him from Hell.”
Allah’s Command, Pay Zakah
“And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector, and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.”
[22:78 ]
The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has said:
[Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 2.478]
“Narrated by Ibn AbbasThy Prophet sent Muadh to Yemen and said, “Invite the people to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I am Allah’s Apostle, and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has enjoined on them five prayers in every day and night (in twenty-four hours), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has made it obligatory for them to pay the Zakat from their property and it is to be taken from the wealthy among them and given to the poor.”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 2.479]
“Narrated by Abu AiyubA man said to the Prophet “Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise.” The people said, “What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?” The Prophet said, “He has something to ask. (What he needs greatly.)” The Prophet said: “(In order to enter Paradise) you should worship Allah and do not ascribe any partners to Him, offer prayer perfectly, pay the Zakat and keep good relations with your kith and kin.”
(See Hadith No. 12, Vol 8). [Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.480]
“Narrated by Abu Huraira Bedouin came to the Prophet and said, “Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise if I do it.” The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, “Worship Allah, and worship none along with Him, offer the (five) prescribed compulsory prayers perfectly, pay the compulsory Zakat, and fast the month of Ramadan.” The Bedouin said, “By Him, in Whose Hands my life is, I will not do more than this.” When he (the Bedouin) left, the Prophet said, “Whoever likes to see a man of Paradise, then he may look at this man.”
Leaders Of The Youth Of Paradise
The naming of Hazrat Imam Hussain radiallahu taala anhu and Hazrat Imam Hassan radiallahu taala anhu
When Hazrat Imam Hussain radiallahu taala anhu and Hazrat Imam Hassan radiallahu taala anhu were born on different occasions their father wanted to give them other names, but the Holy Prophet Muhammed Salalaahu Alaihi wasallam specifically named them from these names, these names were specially saved and kept for them .
The names of “al-Hasan” and “al-Husayn” were not known before that; i.e. in the state of ignorance (Jahiliyyah). In fact, their grandfather Prophet Muhammad sallallahualayhi wa sallam was the first one who named with them(who called somebody with these names).
Ibn al-Athir said in “Asad al-Ghabah”
Leaders of the youth of paradise
After they were born the Holy Prophet Muhammed Salalaahu Alaihi wasallam did not give them a basharat that they would be in heaven, but he gave a Basaharat that they would be leaders of the youth of paradise.
The Prophet – blessings and peace be upon him – declared: “these two sons of mine are the leaders of the youth in Paradise.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Kitab al-Manaqib, Manaqib Abi Muhammad al-Hasan, Hadith no. 3793, Vol. 5, Page 426].
Narrated: Ibn Umar
“The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘Hasan and Husain will be the leaders of the youth of Paradise, and their father(Syadinna Maula Ali radiallahu taala anhu) is better than them.”
Sunan Ibn Majah , Chapter 1 , Book of Sunnah Hadith no: 118
Your Parents Are Your Paradise And They Are Your Hell
DUTIES TOWARDS PARENTS
The Holy Quran and Sunnah have laid great emphasis on meting out the treatment to the parents. Serving the parents well has been declared a highly virtuous act and a great asset in this world as well Hereafter, Our parents deserve our greatest regard obedience, and service after Allah and His Messenger.
Almighty Allah has decreed:
Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Allah and that you be kind to parents.
The spiritual and moral duties are not brought into juxtaposition. We are to worship none but Allah because none but Allah is worthy of worship. Here we are asked to show kindness to our father and mother. It means parental love should be to us a type of divine love, Our spiritual advancement is tested by this. We cannot expect Allah’s forgiveness if we are rude or unkind to those who unselfishly brought us up.
Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Masud (Allah be pleased with him) states:
I submitted to the Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as to which act Allah likes best.
The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
The prayer offered in time.
Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Masud (Allah be pleased with him) submitted:
What it that Allah likes next best
The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Good treatment of your mother and father.
Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Masud (Allah be pleased with him) again submitted:
The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Jihad in the way of Allah. (Bukhari, Muslim)

Narrated by Ibn Umar (Radhiallaho anhuma):
I heard Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) saying, “When you see the crescent (of the month of Ramadan), start fasting, and when you see the crescent (of the month of Shawwal), stop fasting; and if the sky is overcast (and you can’t see it) then regard the month of Ramadan as of 30 days.”
Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 124
Devils are chained in The month of Ramadan

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam)said, “When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.”

The virtues of Ramadan
Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallaho anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said “The blessed month has come to you. Allah has made fasting during it obligatory upon you. During it, the gates to Paradise are opened and the gates to hellfire are locked, and the devils are chained. There is a night [during this month] which is better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of its good is really deprived [of
something great].”
This is related to Ahmad, an-Nasa’i, and al-Baihaqi.
Gates of Paradise for women

Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Allah’s Apostle said, “When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the
life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world.”
