Hadith Garden: Inspirations
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr (radhiallahu ‘anhu), Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said: There are two qualities or characteristics which will not be returned by any Muslim without his entering Paradise. While they are easy, those who act upon them are few.
One should say after every prayer:
“Subhan-Allah” (Glory be to Allah) 10 times
“Al-hamdu lillah” (Praise be to Allah) 10 times
and “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Most Great) 10 times.
That is a 150 on the tongue, but 1500 on the scale.
When he goes to bed, he should say:
“Subhan-Allah” (Glory be to Allah) 33 times,
“Al-hamdu lillah” (Praise be to Allah) 33 times,
and “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Most Great) 34 times,
for that is a 100 on the tongue and 1000 on the scale.
(He said:) I saw the Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) counting them on his hand.
The people asked: Prophet of Allah! (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) How is it that while they are easy, those who act upon them are few?
He (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) replied: The Devil comes to one of you when he goes to bed and he makes him sleep before he utters them, and he comes to him while he is engaged in prayer and calls a need to his mind before he utters them. [Sunan Abu Dawud – Book 41, Hadith 5047]
Friday is an Eid (festival) which Allah has ordained for the Muslims
It was narrated by Ibn Abbas (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu), the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said: ‘This day is an ‘Eid (festival) which Allah has ordained for the Muslims. Whoever comes to Friday (prayer), let him take a bath and if he has perfume then let him put some on. And upon you (I urge to use) is the tooth stick.”. [Ibn Majah 1098 – Hasan]
The first batch to enter Paradise will appear like the moon of a night that is full
Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) narrated, that the Prophet (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said: “The first batch to enter Paradise will appear like the moon of a night that it is full. The second will appear like the color of the most beautiful star in the sky. Each man among them shall have two wives, each wife wearing seventy bracelets, with the marrow of their shins being visible from behind them.” [Tirmidhi 2522 – Sahih]
