Apart from Sujood, there are many more instances mentioned in the Ahaadeeth on when the du’aa is quickly responded:
During the last third of every night.
Between the Adhan and the Iqamah.
When it is raining.
At the time of breaking the fast.
When the person is sick or in distress.
The one who is oppressed.
When hearing the rooster crowing.
and there are more…
The important thing is that you call Allah with firm heart that He تعالى will respond to you.
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “The invocation of anyone of you is granted (by Allah) if he does not show impatience (by saying, “I invoked Allah but my request has not been granted).” [Saheeh al-Bukhari (6340) and Saheeh Muslim (4922)]
So upon you is the Du’aa and upon Allah is the response.
