Stealing In Prayer
One of the worst forms of theft or cheating is cheating in prayer.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The worst type of thief is the one who steals from his prayer.
The people asked, O Messenger of Allah, how can a person steal from his prayer?
He said: By not doing rukoo and sujood properly.
(Reported by Imaam Ahmad, 5/310; see also Saheeh al-Jaami, 997).
This lack of composure and failure to pause in rukoo and sujood and to stand up straight after rukoo or sit up properly between sujoods may be observed in many of those who pray, and hardly any mosque is free of examples of people who do not have the proper composure in prayer. Correct composure is one of the pillars of prayer, without which prayer is invalid.
This is a serious matter.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A man’s prayer is not good enough until his back is straight in rukoo and sujood.
(Reported by Abu Dawud, 1/533; see also Saheeh al-Jaamia 7224).

A Best Comprehensive Supplication
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) made many supplications that we did not memorize. We said to him:
O Messenger of Allah! (sallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) You have made many supplications of which we do not remember anything.
The Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) said, Should I not show you such a comprehensive dua that includes all duas? Say,
(O Allah, I beg to You the good which Your Prophet Muhammad (sallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) begged of You;
and I seek refuge in You from the evil where Your Prophet Muhammad (sallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) sought refuge.
You are the One from Whom help is sought and Your is the responsibility to communicate (the truth). There is no power or strength except with Allah the Exalted, the Great.
[At-Tirmidhi]
Commentary:
For those who do not remember many prayers, or cannot remember them, this is the best supplication to make. This shows part of Allah’s Mercy upon his slaves and part of the easiness of practicing Islam.

Dajjal And His Features
1. Anas b. Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: There would be written three letters k. f. r., i. e. Kafir, between the eyes of the Dajjal.
2. Ibn Umar reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him). made a mention of Dajjil in the presence of the people and said: Allah is not one-eyed and behold that Dajjal is blind of the right eye and his eye would be like a floating grape.
3. Anas b. Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: There is never a prophet who has not warned the Ummah of that one-eyed liar; behold he is one-eyed and your Lord is not one-eyed. On his forehead are the letters k f. r. (Kafir).
4. Hudhaifa reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: the Dajjal would have with him water and fire and his fire would bay the effect of cold water and his water would have the effect of fire, so don’t put yourself to ruin. Abu Mas’ud reported: I also heard it from Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him).
5. Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: May I not inform you about the Dajjal what no Apostle of Allah narrated to his people? He would be blind and he would bring along with him an Image of Paradise and Hellfire and what he would call Paradise that would be Hellfire and I warn you as Noah warned his people.
6. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir with the same chain of transmitters but with this addition that Gog and Magog would walk until they would reach the mountain of al-Khamar and it is a mountain of Bait-ul-Maqdis and they would say: We have killed those who are upon the earth. Let us now kill those who are In the sky and they would throw their arrows towards the sky and the arrows would return to them besmeared with blood. And in the narration of Ibn Hujr (the words are): I have sent such persons (Gog and Magog) that none would dare fight against them.
Supremacy Of Congregational Prayer
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) Allah’s Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said:
The congregational prayer of anyone amongst you is more than twenty (five or twenty-seven) times in reward than his prayer in the market or in his house, for if he performs ablution completely and then goes to the mosque with the sole intention of performing the prayer, and nothing urges him to proceed to the mosque except the prayer, then, on every step which he takes towards the mosque, he will be raised one degree or one of his sins will be forgiven. The angels will keep on asking Allah’s forgiveness and blessings for every one of you so long as he keeps sitting at his praying place. The angels will say, O Allah, bless him! O Allah, be merciful to him! as long as he does not do Hadath or a thing which gives trouble to the other.
The Prophet further said, One is regarded in prayer so long as one is waiting for the prayer.
[Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 34 Sales and Trade , Number 330]
Allah Says in The Holy Quran Chapter 29 Surah Ankabut Verse 45 Regarding Some Of The Wisdom Behind The Act Of Salaah :
O Prophet, Recite This Book (Al Quran) Which Has Been Revealed To You, And Establish The Salaat. Surely The Salaat Restrains From indecent And Evil Acts, And The Remembrance Of Allah is indeed The Greatest. And Allah knows Whatever You Do.
The Man Who Challenged The Quran
In 1977, Professor Gary Miller, the active Canadian preacher, and mathematics and logic lecturer at Toronto University, decided to provide a great service to Christianity by exposing scientific and historical errors in the Noble Quran in such a way that would be beneficial to him and his fellow preachers in calling Muslims to Christianity. However, the result was complete to the contrary. Miller’s writings were fair and his study and comments were positive, even better than many Muslims would write about the Noble Quran. He considered the Noble Quran, as it should be and reached the conclusion that it cannot be a work of a human being.
The first surprising issue for Professor Miller was the challenging tone in many ayahs1 such as the ayahs that can be translated as Will they do not then contemplate the Quran? And if it had been from (anywhere) other than the Providence of Allah, indeed they would have found in it much difference (s). (TMQ2 4:82) And in case you are suspicious (Literally: in suspicion) about what We have been sending down upon Our bondman, (i.e., the prophet. A bondman or slave is the highest title conferred by Allah upon his chosen men) then come up with a surah of like (manner), and invoke your witnesses, apart from Allah, in case you are sincere. (TMQ 2:23) Although Professor Miller was challenged at the beginning he ended up astonished at what he found.

True Anecdotes – A Wise Old Woman
A scholar once saw an old lady operating her spinning wheel and asked her, “Lady! You’ve been spinning that wheel your entire life. Have you ever taken any time to learn about Your Lord?”
The woman replied, “I see everything through this wheel of mine.”
“Then tell me, is Allah present or not?”
“Allah is present, every moment, every day, every night “all the time.”
“But what’s your proof of this?”
“This very wheel of mine!”
“How so?”
The woman explained, “As long as I’m here running the wheel, it continues to spin in motion. Once I stop, it stops. So, if the wheel is in need of someone to keep it moving, why shouldn’t the Earth, the Heavens, the Sun, and the Moon be in need of someone to keep them moving? When I stop my work, the wheel stops spinning, but until now, we’ve never seen anything in our Universe stop moving. This is how I know that the One Who keeps our world in order is present and is always present.”
The scholar was happy with this answer but continued, “Okay, but how do you know that the One who controls the Universe is one and not two?”
The woman replied, “The answer is again in my wheel! It only spins in the direction I tell it to. If someone wanted to assist me in spinning it, the wheel’s motion would become inconsistent and it wouldn’t work properly. And, if my assistant spun it in a different direction, the wheel would either stop spinning or break. This doesn’t happen when I use it alone, and this is how I know that if there was another controller of the Universe besides Allah, there would be no uniformity in the day and night cycle or anything else. So, the controller of the Heavens and the Earth can only be one.” [Seerat as-Saliheen, Page 3]
Lesson: The world itself is proof that our Creator is one, but only those of insight see this.
