Allah Ki Pasandida Khusboo
Are You Ready for Last 10 Days of Ramadan
Allah says in the Qur’an: “The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn”. [Quran: 97:3-5]
The blessed Laylatul Qadr can be found in any of the last 10 nights of Ramadan, the most blessed nights of the year. As such, we should increase our worship and devotion during this period.
Aisha reported: With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet tightened his waist belt (i.e., worked harder), prayed the whole night, and kept his family awake for the prayers. [Bukhari]
Abu Hurayrah relates that the Prophet said: “Whoever stands (in the voluntary night prayer of) Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. And whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” [Sunan an-Nasa’i]
Such immense rewards are to be gained during these blessed 10 nights. How can we afford to miss out on them? Who is to say that we will live to see the next Ramadan? We must make the best of these 10 nights. If we cannot manage all the 10 nights, then as many as we can manage, particularly on the odd-numbered nights: 21st, 25th, 27th, and 29th.
There is a saying that a person who fails to plan plans to fail. There are a few points to consider:
– Remain in I’tikaf: The best way of catching the blessed night is to remain in I’tikaf, which both men and women can do. If it is not possible for one to remain in I’tikaf for the whole of the 10 days and nights, then one should try to remain in I’tikaf for as many days and nights as possible.
– Worship all 10 nights: Try to worship the whole of the 10 nights or as many days you can manage, as that is the best way to catch the unimaginable and incomprehensible rewards of Laylatul Qadr. Every good deed from Maghrib until Fajr on Laylatul Qadr is rewarded with a minimum of at least 83 years’ of worship. Subhan Allah, that is longer than most of us will live!’
– Best dua of the last 10 nights: اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Aisha reported: I asked: “O Messenger of Allah! If I realize Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?” He replied, “You should supplicate: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).” [At-Tirmidhi].
– Give charity: Any good act such as charity during Laylatul Qadr is rewarded like you have done it for over 83 years.
– Eat light: As you will be staying up until Fajr, the more you eat, the harder it will be for you to stay up and the less productive you will be!
– Hydrate well: Keep some water with you at all times. This will help you stay up, feel energized and refreshed, and have a clearer mind.
– Complete all tasks beforehand: Make arrangements to clear as many of your pending tasks as possible, or make a plan for tackling them later. This way, we are free to worship during the 10 nights without being distracted by worldly tasks.
– Show exemplary character: The Prophet said: “Nothing will be heavier on the Day of Resurrection in the Scale of the believer than good manners. Allah hates one who utters foul or coarse language.” [At- Tirmidhi]. So we must aim to be the best in character during these blessed nights and continue to do so for the rest of the year. We must not argue, swear, backbite, slander, or gossip.
– No time-wasting: We must make a firm intention that during these blessed 10 nights, we will not take part in idle talk, watch TV, play computer games, or spend time on social media. There are 355 days in the year for all that – if you really cannot resist. This is just 10 nights! There will be indeed an utter loss and regret for those of us who waste these blessed 10 nights.
– Making life changes: We should make the necessary changes to improve ourselves as Muslims and what better time to make such changes than during these blessed 10 nights when we can change our lives forever. We must internalize these changes and make a firm commitment to Allah, and maybe he will wipe off our sins until we become newborn babies, In Sha Allah

Equality Of Man And Woman
All Praises are due to Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala, Peace and Blessings be upon the most perfect of creations, His Beloved Habeeb, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam his noble Family, and the illustrious Sahaba Riwanullahi Ta’ala Alaihim Ajma’een and all the pious servants of Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala.
The religion of Islam gave women an honorable status and true dignity. Before the advent of Islam, women had no rights of any kind, or an independent identity in any form. The great importance of the Muslim woman’s role – whether as wife, sister, or daughter, and the rights that are due to her and the rights that are due from her – have been explained in the Glorious Quran and further details of this have been described in the purified Sunnah.
With the advent of Islam came the verse from the Qur’an condemning those who practiced female infanticide:
“And when one among of them receives the glad tidings of a daughter, his face turns black for the day, and he remains seething. Hiding from the people because of the evil of the tidings; “Will he keep her with disgrace, or bury her beneath the earth?”; pay heed! Very evil is the judgment they impose!” [Surah an-Nahl : 58/59]
The Holy Qur’an makes no distinction between man and woman regarding fundamental human rights. Here we may specifically state that a woman, like a man, is the possessor of free personality, and enjoys equality with man, with respect of:
Her spiritual and moral status:
The Qur’an says: “… Unto men the benefit of what they earn (of virtue) and unto women the benefit of what they earn (of virtue)” [Surah al-Nisa: 32]
i.e. in matters of spiritual grace both, man and woman, enjoy equal status and are independent of one another. A woman’s responsibility in faith is exactly the same as that of a man. Women are to pray, fast, give charity, perform the pilgrimage, and perform other forms of Ibadah. A woman is rewarded for this, just like a man. A woman must believe in the Oneness of Almighty Allah, the Books of Almighty Allah, the Angels of Almighty Allah, the Prophets of Almighty, the Day of Resurrection, the Day of Judgment and Heaven and Hell, and Predestination.
Her economic rights:
The Qur’an says: “Unto the men (of a family) belongs a share of that which parents and near kindred leave, and unto the women a share of that which the parents and near kindred leave, whether it be little or much – a legal share.” [Surah al-Nisa: 7]
Her legal rights:
The Qur’an says: “… And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them, according to what is equitable…” [Surah al-Baqarah: 228]
Islam ensured a dignified life for the fair sex, which was hitherto treated in an unfair manner. Women became the mistress of the household. The man was not allowed to beat or manhandle them nor deprive them of their share in the property. The Holy Qur’an declared: “A mother should not be made to suffer because of her child, nor he to whom the child is born (be made to suffer) because of his child (because both are equal before the law)…” [Surah al-Baqarah : 233]
Her right to gain the Knowledge:
Islam has made it a duty of every Muslim male and female to gain knowledge, which is considered to be a superior act of worship in Islam. In Islam, therefore, both men and women are credited with the capacity for learning, understanding, and teaching. Knowledge is not only limited to religious knowledge but includes all forms of knowledge. Acquiring knowledge will enable Muslim women and men to get better perception and understanding of the world around them and make them more conscious of Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala.
Conclusion:
The status of Muslim women as defined in Islam is very important because women make up half of society, and they are responsible for nurturing, guidance and reformation of the subsequent generations of men and women. It is the female who imbues principles and faith into the souls of the nation. Indeed, the Muslim woman is the initial teacher in building a righteous society. Islam brought a new lease of life to women. Islam elevated the status of women to great heights, so high that she stood shoulder to shoulder with men. In the Islamic family, the role of men and women is complementary rather than competitive. Their duties are described as equal in importance but not identical in substance.
Now, the issue of feminism in Islam is meaningless. The coming of Islam has brightened the life and future of women, in which Islam has lifted their level. Islam upholds women to the highest and most respected position.
I hope my effort will be appreciated and my sisters in faith will surely remember me in their prayers for peace and prosperity, health and happiness and Allah’s SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala Mercy and Favor. May Almighty Allah SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala, through the Waseela of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SallAllaho Alaihi wa Sallam accept this humble effort; and may He SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala give us the Toufeeq and Hidayah to restore the true rights to our Muslim women as dictated by Islam. Aameen!!

Ramadan Allah’s Laws For Fasting
“It is a religious observance that lasts a fixed number of days. But those of you who are sick or proceeding on a journey shall compensate the fast by the same number of days at a later date. As for those who experience hardship caused by fasting, they appease Allah by expiration of feeding an indigent. Nonetheless, he who voluntarily offers to commit good shall find benevolence and benefaction indeed rewarding; and if you are able to fast, it profits you, if only you knew. Ramadan is the month of fasting during which the Quran’s poignant disclosure was revealed to guide people into all truth; its clear revelations guide them out of darkness and superstition and eliminate want of spiritual and intellectual vision into illumination and mental enlightenment, and its precepts are the standard to judge right or wrong. Therefore, he who grasps sight of the birth of the moon shall begin to fast. But he who is sick or proceeding on a journey shall fast the same number of days at a later time. Allah’s purpose is to put you at ease and not make you experience discomfort. He wants you to complete the course of fasting so that you praise Allah and extol His glorious attributes for His guidance to the path of righteousness, and that you may hopefully impel yourselves to feel gratitude.” [2:184-185]
“It has been made permissible for you to be intimate with your wives during the nights preceding the fast. Your spouses are a garment for you, as you are for them. Allah knows that you were deceiving yourselves. So He has accepted your repentance and pardoned you. So now you may be intimate with them and seek what Allah has prescribed for you. You may eat and drink until you see the light of dawn breaking the darkness of night, then complete the fast until nightfall. Do not be intimate with your spouses while you are meditating in the mosques. These are the limits set by Allah, so do not exceed them. This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to people, so they may become mindful of Him.” [2:187]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) has said:
[Bukhari, Book #31, Hadith #118] “Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, “I am fasting.” The Prophet added, “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), ‘He has left his food, drink, and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it, and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times.”

Month Of Ramadan: Rewards For Those Who Fasts
[2. Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 43] And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down.
[Sahih Bukhari: volume 3, Book 31, Number 118] Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah’s Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, “Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relations with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, I am fasting.” The Prophet added, “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), He has left his food, drink, and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it, and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times.”
[Sahih Bukhari: volume 3, Book 31, Number 120] Narrated Sahl (Radi Allah Anhu): The Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, “There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, ‘Where are those who used to observe fasts?’ They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry, the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it.”
[Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 31, Number 122] Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah’s Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, “When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened.”
[Sahih Bukhari : volume 3, Book 31, Number 123] Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah’s Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, “When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.”
Our Lord, pour down upon us patience, make our steps firm, and assist us against the unbelieving people.

Charity: Rewards Of Giving “Sadaqa”
Bsmillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem was-salaat was-salaam ala Sayyidina muhammadin wa `ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallam
Small illnesses are for small sins, and great illnesses are for great sins… May Allah not deprive us of the faiz, the Divine Outpourings, of Ramadan… To pronounce “Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim” in the holy month of Ramadan is not the same as saying it in the other months. Every good deed, `amal salih, counts 70 times this month. Ramadan is the month of gathering precious ‘jewels and gold’, because Allah is paying for the good deeds fawq-ul ‘ala, with above what is High.
Every night the blessings are different, the thirty nights are like thirty springs – each one different from the other. Allah has so many sources, He is Jalla Jalaluhu… They think it is a joke… Don’t go around without having wudhu!
Shukr, ya Rabbi! Let us say and praise Your mighty Name with our tongues: Allah, ya Jalil…Allah, dhul Jalal!’
They envy us for making Dhikr and mentioning His Name…Shukr…Shukr…Shukr! Don’t be afraid! Whoever is saying “Shukr” will not fall on the Sirat, the Bridge [that each person must cross, over hell], nor will he fall into hell, and he will not die from a terrible illness. Illness escapes from a grateful person who says “Shukr.” So for saying “Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim” once there is a seventy-fold reward. Everything that you do in Ramadan is precious and full of blessings. What is given during this month of rewards is not given in all the other months… So give and don’t be afraid, Allah will give to you… With their knowledge and the inventions developed, some people are above all other nations.
No one is ahead of them. Now they even built tea machines that produce seven different kinds of tea… They also invented paper money… Now there is paper instead of gold and silver…and now we have credit cards.
In old times, buying and selling was done with Salawat and Basmala, and buyer as well as seller took their share of the blessings. And the goods never finished. You can still see the blessings in Makkah: after the night prayer millions of people do their shopping, but in the morning you see the shops full just like before, nothing is missing. The goods go and come. That is because of the Baraka that Allah gave to that place.
Allah is saying: “What you give for My sake, I am not accepting, rather I give it back to you ten-fold”. There are five kinds of Sadaqa: One kind is rewarded 1-to-1, another one is rewarded 1-to-10, another 1-to-70, the fourth kind is rewarded 1-to-700 and for one kind of Sadaqa there is endless reward from Allah Almighty Himself.
1-to-1 is for Haraam-money, the money for example that is gained in banks, because to take interest is not allowed in Islam. And you have to know what to do with that money.
There was one rich Arab in London who received millions of pounds sterling for the money he put in the bank. He refused to take it because he said in Islam it is not allowed, but the bank said they couldn’t take it back. Then the bank took the money and donated it for the restoration
of a cathedral in England… The reward for Sadaqa from Haram money is 1-to-1.
If you give to someone who comes to your door to beg, your reward is 1-to-10. If you give to poor neighbors, your reward is 1-to-70. If you give to poor relatives, the reward is 1-to-700. The endless reward is for those who give money to strengthen Islam, to make it stand up, and to keep it strong. That reward is not written by the angels, but by Allah Almighty Himself with His Hand of Power [yad il-qudra]. For example, the money can be used to build or keep Mosques, Dergahs, Zawaya, Madrasas, Waqifs. As it is Allah Who gave to you – why do you fear to give?
Allah says: “I am sending provision in unknown and unexpected ways to My servant”. Therefore, Allah doesn’t want employees in mosques – it is His attribute to provide for His servants in His way. They should not eat from the Bait-ul-Mal. Don’t tie yourself to payment – tie yourself to Allah! But we are running after the rubbish of the Dunya to collect it. Collect jewels instead!
May Allah give us a mind oriented toward Akhirat. If we don’t look after Akhirat first, the mind also doesn’t function in Dunya… The proof: If our mind was functioning well, this world would be like paradise.
