The Excellence Of Durood Shareef As Explained In The Ahadeeth
“Hadith” is an Arabic word which means “Holy Sayings”. It is the narration of all the affectionate words of advice uttered by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Salim) from time to time. These sayings (Ahadith) are instructions offered for the guidance of mankind, and to follow them is as important as daily prayers.
The famous books of Hadith are the following: Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Muwatta, Nisaai’, Ibn-Majah, Darmi, Baihaqi and Miskhaat Shareef.

Hence, Ahadith quoted by Imam Bukhari (radi Allahu anhu) and his work on Ahadith stands as one of the wonders of intellectual achievement in Islamic History. He wrote all Ahadith in the sacred Haram of Madina Munawwarah. It is, therefore, that most of the Ahadith have been taken from the book of Bukhari Shareef.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam ‘ala Rasulillah
As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
Narrated by Abu Dhar (Radhiallaho anho):
I asked Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) , “What is the best deed?” He replied, “To believe in Allah and to fight for His cause.” I then asked, “What is the best kind of manumission (of
slaves)?” He replied, “The manumission of the most expensive slave and the most beloved by his master.” I said, “If I cannot afford to do that?” He said, “Help the weak or do good for a person who cannot work for himself.” I said, “If I cannot do that?” He said, “Refrain from harming others for this will be regarded as a charitable deed for your own good.”

Everyone Is A Guardian And Is Responsible For His charges
Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam ‘ala Rasulillah
As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
Narrated by Abdullah(Radhiallah o anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Everyone of you is a guardian and is responsible for his charges. The ruler who has authority over people is a guardian and is responsible for them, a man is a guardian of his family and is responsible for them; a woman is a guardian of her husband’s house and children and is responsible for them; a slave (‘Abu) is a guardian of his master’s property and is responsible for it; so all of you are guardians and

Allah’s Treatment With A Believer And A Non-Believer
[Sahih Muslim: Book 39 ‘Sifat Al-Qiyamah wa’l Janna wa’n-Nar’, Number 6739]
Anas b. Malik (Radi Allah Anhu) reported that Allah’s Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said:
“Verily, Allah does not treat a believer unjustly in regard to his virtues. He would confer upon him (His blessing) in this world and would give him reward in the Hereafter. And as regards a non-believer. he would be made to taste the reward (of virtue in this world) what as has done for himself so much that when it would be the Hereafter. he would find no virtue for which he should be rewarded.”
[Sahih Muslim: Book 39 ‘Sifat Al-Qiyamah wa’l Janna wa’n-Nar’, Number 6740]
Anas b. Malik (Radi Allah Anhu) reported that Allah’s Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) thus told him:
“When a non-believer does good he is made to taste Its reward in this world. And so far as the believer is concerned, Allah stores (the reward) of his virtues for the Hereafter and provides him sustenance in accordance with his obedience to Him.”
He who walks towards Me, I rush towards him
[Sahih Muslim : Book 35 Kitab Al-Dhikr, Number 6499]
Abu Dharr (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah’s Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, stated:
“He who comes with goodness, there are in store for him ten like those and even more than those: ‘And he who comes with vice, ‘ it is only for that that he is called to account. I even forgive him (as I like) and he who draws close to Me by the span of a palm I draw close to him by the cubit, and he who draws close to Me by the cubit I draw close to him by the space (covered) by two hands, and he who walks towards Me I rush towards him, and he who meets Me in the state that his sins fill the earth, but not associating anything with Me, I would meet Him with the same (vastness) of pardon (on My behalf).”
Prayer is light & Charity is proof (of one’s faith)
[Sahih Muslim : Book 2 ‘Al-Taharah’, Number 0432]
Abu Malik at-Ash’ari Radi Allah Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill up what is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one’s faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur’an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.
Our Lord! accept from us; surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.
Say (O Muhammad ): “O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honor whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things.
You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night (i.e. increase and decrease in the hours of the night and the day during winter and summer), You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit (measure or account). (3:26,27)
Understanding The Holy Message – Surah: Ad-Dukhan
Surah No 44: Ad-Dukhan
Number of Ayats: Fifty-nine
Meaning of the name: It takes its name from Ayat no 10 where the word Ad-Dukhan has been mentioned which means “smoke”
Summary: This is a Makki surah. It begins with stating in Ayat no 3 that the Holy Quran was sent down on a blessed night. The Quraish have mainly been addressed in the surah as their hostility was increasing towards Islam. Therefore the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed to Allah to send famine which might change the attitude of the people of Makkah. There was a slight change, as some Quraish Chiefs then came to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asking him to pray to Allah to relieve them of this calamity. This was the occasion that the surah was revealed, however, Allah had told the Prophet (PBUH) that these people cannot learn from a mere calamity, as they have turned away from his teachings, and also they lie if they say that they will believe when they have been saved from the terrible ordeal.
Reference is given to the people of Pharaoh, who refused to accept the signs such as their prosperous land of Canaan, their thriving Kingdom under David and Solomon, and the teachings of the prophets that were so clearly shown by Allah and when they conspired to kill Hazrat Moosa (AS) they met their end.
It is stated that we must realize that worldly status cannot help oneself or anyone else on the Day of Judgment, it is only Allah’s mercy that can.
